Title Image - Wardrode Dweller

Boadicea Ok - I know my chosen spelling is not currently accepted as being correct.
It doesn't really matter so long as we both know who we are referring to.

This fighter of a woman is also known as...

Boudica                Boudicca
Buduica                Bonduca

and I am amazed at the amount of information
known about her. You can search
her name
and find loads of interesting stuff.
One piece of information leads to others.

Question mark

Why?  Because it is documented history of course!

Food for thought...
At the time of this woman's death,
Paul (Bible - New Testament) was in prison.
This fact is also well documented as are the letters he wrote.

Perhaps you should be questioning why events in the life of one historical person are  automatically accepted as fact while the events in another's may often be thought of as nothing more than stories.

Similarly
At the time Aesop's Fables were originating,
Daniel (Bible - Old Testament) was
in a den of lions.

Real people, real events, real documented history.

Note - 'The tortoise and the hare', 'The boy who cried wolf', and 'The fox and the grapes' are all examples of Aesop's fables.
